Either way, a drainage and water enquiry invariably needs to be carried out. Thames Water Property Insight offers this and everything else required for both types of sale - at competitive prices.

Residential sales

Known by the code name 'Con29DW', the Residential Drainage and Water Enquiry is now required for almost one third of all home sales in England and Wales - so if you're selling a property, you may well need one.

In addition to the drainage and water search, we also provide all the other HIP components, including local authority and environmental searches and energy performance certificates.

Commercial sales

Thames Water Property Insight equips you for all commercial property sales, a key part of which is the commercial Drainage and Water Enquiry.

As well as everything included in a residential HIP, we provide information on wayleaves, easements, invert and cover levels, trade effluent consent licences, commercial energy performance certificates, flooding and environmental reports and various other relevant searches.
