No water or low pressure
If your water suddenly stops, or you’re having issues with your supply, we’re here to help.
Our step-by-step guide explains how to find out what the problem is and get it fixed as soon as possible.
Things to check if you have no water
Try your cold kitchen tap
Is water coming out of this tap but nowhere else in your home? It’s very likely to be a problem with your internal plumbing. You need to contact an approved plumber or your landlord.
Look for frozen pipes
In cold weather, you can usually spot a frozen pipe by the light coating of frost around it. If this happens, read our help page for advice on what to do with frozen pipes.
Check your stop valves
Your inside stop valve is usually placed under your kitchen sink. Check that it’s fully open by gently turning it anti-clockwise. Use our guide to find out how to turn on your inside stop valve.
Ask your neighbours
If your neighbours are having the same problem with their water supply, it could be an issue with our network. If not, contact an approved plumber or your landlord.
Check issues in your area
Your supply might be affected by an issue we’re already working to fix. Search for your postcode on our map to see planned work or check our network latest for more information.
